and another question.....payments in arrears

Hi, sorry for asking yet another question but I am behind on all of my credit cards repayments now and I have written to them explaining that we are in contact with CCCS and have made a token payment of £1 (as we simply cannot pay them all).

Is this going to affect my IVA application (if we finally decide this is the way forward) and will they look unfavourably because I haven't kept up with payments?

Also, I have kept up with our £10k personal loan payment of £240pm but was considering not paying that this month in order to get everything straight before the IVA starts (if indeed we go ahead and it is accepted). Otherwise will I be seen as giving preference to this creditor?

Your advice as ever is greatly appreciated.

You would more likely be seen as giving preference to that creditor of you went br.

The token payments won't make any difference to the iva being accepted, they will just look at the best route to getting any money out of you.

Credit cards almost don't give a hoot!

You're best to maintain a reasonable token payment until you decide exactly what you're going to do and once you've decided, then stop your payments altogether.
