Printer worked fine with Windows XP – but with new laptop (Vista - upgraded to Windows 7) printer won’t print. It makes a rattling noise as if rollers are struggling to pull the paper thro’.
After downloaded drivers for Win 7 – it worked perfectly for a little while….
Anyone got any ideas how I can fix it? Or should I just get a new printer - just need to do basic b/w printing now & then.....?
Thanks in advance

Since the printer has the right drivers, it's possibly a hardware problem or maintenance problem
Are you using the correct grade of paper, paper type that can be used inside the printer ?
I'd also suggest running the maintenance programs as some programs have the ability to do checks and usually when they're doing the tests it can highlight something. Is there anything obvious you can see that is damaged ?Owner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

My Epson had a similar problem - paper jam even though here was no paper jammed.
As it was 11 months into years guarantee took it back to PC World who reluctantly took it back and a fortnight later got a phone call to collect a new one.0 -
Problem solved - a pen had fallen in the paper slot.....!!!
Thanks for all your help/info - much appreciated.0
