advice: P&O Mini Cruise - Food Costs

Hi

We have booked a moni cruise to spain from portsmouth
They have an option to have full board for £66 each, however, they says it equates to 10% discount if you have their breakfasts and the evening 3 course meal

We were wondering how much a breakfast would cost and how much an evening meal would cost so we can work out if its viable to take the offer

Thanks
Mark

From what I can remember I coul've done a whole weeks shopping for the price of the breakfast.
There is a snack bar which does croissants, soup etc but we always took sandwiches, croissants etc with us to cut down on cost.
    I haven't got one!

    Hi

I would take the full board if it includes dinner at their ala carte restaurant. I have been on this crossing (Santander?) quite a few times and the food in this restaurant is really lovely and makes the trip.

I cant remeber the cost per meal but i just remember teh buffetts are amazing. As soon as you got on board just chuck your bags in your room and dart as fast as you can to the restaurant as you need to book your table. Old hats that have been on this crossing know the value and enjoyment of these meals and get in line at the desk outside the restaurant as soon as they get on board to make sure they get a good reservation time for dinner.

Without doubt i think its great value. The alternatives are very cheap style food which seem to be very expensive for what they are..nothing like the luxury of the main a la carte restaurant!!!

I would book it. If you like your food and good wine and want to make this into more than just a ferry crossing.
