  • RE last post, This was ADSA Dundonald near BELFAST, LOL
  • ah I see, I need to be more determined. I'll go back to Asda today and actually take the nappies to the till.

Damn. I was soooooo proud of the fact that Andrew had finally grown big enough to move up from Newborn to Size 2 nappies ... and then an offer like this comes along ....

MSE: many of the benefits of a helpful family, without disadvantages like having to compete for the tv remote

:) Proud Parents to an Aut-some son :)
  • I got Martin's email about this yesterday so went to my local Asda last night. They had loads of these nappies left but they were £3.75 and no sign of a special offer. I was really disappointed!
  • To teagirl, I sometimes go for offers on here and find that sometimes I am too late, or sold out but often with Asda they do not put the price up that you will be charged at the till. In this instance I would have taken the item to customer services and get it price checked. Sometimes I feel I can't be bothered but I would only regret not making time if I kept reading on here that other people were buying it at the bargain price.

Keep looking at MSE and you will become truly addictive like many of us. Dashed out to Tesco last night and got the glitch with the tomato soup. Well chuffed.

This made the sun newspaper yesterday, ASDA are saying they want mums to spend early days with their baby as its a precious time, and to worry less about the costs

looks like it will be around for a little while.

great at switching mums from iceland to ASDA probably :p

Sadly my DD has just got to size 2!

It's useful even if you intend to use washable nappies as the one size motherease nappies I have are 8 or 10 lbs onwards.

It's a shame the offer is only for the newborn ones. I love Asda nappies, I think they're better than Pampers and Huggies. I get tempted if there's a really good offer on Pampers but i always go back to Asda.

Whilst this is all well and good, it might be worth thinking of the environmental impact these disposables are having on landfill.

Google "lca nappies" to get a real idea of the environmental impact of disposable nappies.

A 2005 study by the environment agency that cost over £200K found no significant difference between the environmental impacts of disposable and reusable nappies.
