Hoping they put the 2s and then 3s on offer in due course
I'm thinking this maybe a long term offer, to try & get people into buying Asda's Own Brand Nappies from the off with their new babies & keep them buying the larger sizes under the 3 for £10 offer rather than opting for the mainstream brands.0 -
sold out in my asda. never mind.0

Whilst this is all well and good, it might be worth thinking of the environmental impact these disposables are having on landfill.
With our last baby, we got washable nappies. After a £50 capital outlay on second hand washables (we worked it out as 10 packs of disposables at the time - about 6 months worth), these washables are in their second year, and about to go onto the second child.
So, all in all, we spent £50... and saved a bundle, and continue to save.
As to washing, they go in with the normal load, no special treatment needed, just a wash and then hang them on the line to dry... We did buy good ones, which have poppers, so are easy-peasy to put on child, probably easier than disposables in all honesty.3 Kids, 1 baby, 1 about to be born, 1 lovely wife, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and 6 chickens... 1 big family!:rotfl:0 -

We're doing washables too (after the meconium). People might also be interested to know that lots of councils offer incentives to people using washables - we get £30 back when we spend £50 - even on second hand nappies, you just need to get your health visitor to sign to say they've seen you using them.
They're completely different to the terry towelling squares of old - just as easy to use as a disposable.0 -
can i check if this is a UK wide offer because there was no sign in my local Asda in Edinburgh. Definitely want to take advantage, got 6 weeks to go before my tadpole arrives and am determined to be organised and preferably budget conscious from the start!0

Hi ,This is my first post,When I saw this post for nappies over in ASDA which is close by,it looked to good to be true as both my sons partners are expecting wee kids within the next 6 weeks, I went over and got 6pks x 48 ---3 each.
On the shelf they were priced at 3Pks for £10.00, I thought I had lost out on the offer, I took the 6 pks to the customer services till, but when the wee lass scanned them ,yep- £1.00 a pkt. One happy Grandad in Waiting, lol.0
