I would agree with take path of least resistance a couple of quid get a set of insulated bullet connectors are and do the repair your self.0

Why even bother with bullets? that would then involve tape too to prevent the contact rusting, a heat shrink butt connector, wire strippers, pliers and a hair dryer are all you need for a half decent job.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -

And why didnt Autoglass just put the connectors on when they fixed the windscreen? I'm sure the OP would have accepted a minimal charge of £5 or so at the point of getting the window replaced0
