I've a house we have tried to sell a few times over the last number of years, we moved away and its rented out but we are sick of subsidising the place, its been one big money pit and we are sick of it, not knowing when it will end. Any thoughts for the fastest sale as if the tenent moves out we'll be stuck paying till it completes, assuming we can get a buyer.
Its interest only mtg so can't do much with it.

How about an open house day/weekend with sealed bids?0

Every property will find a buyer if the price is right0

Get some ea's out and ask their advice on what you need to do to make the property saleable. Market it at a realistic price to get it sold - it should be competitive with those that are similar£2 Savers Club #156!

Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j0 -
Clear the crap, tidy the garden, paint the walls, and clean it thoroughly. One weekend's work, and it will pay off. Price it right.0

We have reduced the price a lot, its the only 4 bed semi in the street but its much cheaper than comparible ones, (20k cheaper than a 3bed det, eventhough when i bought the 4 bed was 20k more exp than the 3beds, prob paid too much) my problem is that i don't want to let the tenent go which will happen if we put it up for sale ( had it for sale last year while trying to find a tenant and nothing) and thep lace is empty and costing us even more, we'll end up selling for less than the mtg so do want to add any to the bills. It's frustrating cause i know we should put it on and see what happens but over the last 4/5 years we tried to sell while living in it and nada.0

Its a semi and not detached, sounds like you got to reduce it considerably more if you want shot. sorry, but probably best to get estate agent round & tell him you want rid0

Ask your tenant if they would like to buy it, ask them to make you an offer. They already live there so they should know the pro's and con's of the house/area.0

Heve you tried to sell it with a sitting tenant? There are still investors out there with cash but at the end of the day the price has to be realistic.0

You could post the rightmove link on here and let people give their honest opinion?
(you can then remove the link at a later date...)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
