Fridges - any cheap recommendations?

Hi there,

I am after buying a cheap fridge and for my first home, needs to an undercounter sort preferably with an ice box in the top. I was wondering if anyone can recommend or warn me of any makes or models, there are heaps of them on comet! The daewoo ones look ok for the price but I thought they made cars :rotfl:

If anyone can recommend the same for an electric oven and hob that would also be good. Wickes have a deal on a make called Moffat 199.99 for the two which seems a bargain but has anyone ever had them?

thanks in advance for any advice!
cheers, Rik

Do you want something cheap that will last 2 years then break down, or would you rather pay a bit more for something that will last? The last Neff oven/hob I had was 15 years old and still working fine when I replaced it.
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.
  • Preferably something low budget as I will move out the house in 5 years and hopefully be able to afford one of those lovely looking samsung double door ones with ice maker :)

The daewoo ones are around 200 quid on comet which is around the price I was hoping to pay, I will have a look at some Neff ones thanks for the tip.

If you're on a low budget, pick up a fridge second hand; the under the counter ones go for peanuts and they all do the same thing.
