Hi
Have to take the car into London on Wednesday morning - where can I park cheaply (somewhere close to a Tube Station & still avoid Congestion Charge)
Not miles & miles away as I have visitors with me & want to show them around for a day trip.
I'm not really familiar with the city!
Travelling from South Wales on the M4

Where abouts in town are you going to? You can often find parking on the edge of the C zone but you will pay more for it. Or you can park much further out (like zone 4/5/6) and tube it in...its a bit of a problem really. Have you not thought about taking the train - presuming 10am leaving time you should be off peak and will arrive into paddington which is easy to get around from0

Okay what about parking in Kings Mall near Hammersmith tube - its £9 for 9 hours and is a 5 minute walk from Hammersmith tube - the best bit is its just off the A4 so you just dont go over the Hammersmith flyover and it should be easy to find from there (but do take a map just in case)0

I allways park under Hyde Park, just outside C zone Prices here:

we park at Hampton Court, as its just inside Zone 6 so you can get the tfl one day travelcard - travel into waterloo
parking is about £4 for the day, and the travelcard is £7.50 per person
journey time into Waterloo, just over half an hour, and waterloo is well placed for London Eye, westminster, etc.
