Need help budgeting - average electricity bill
Options
Hello all,
My boyfriend and I are moving into a rented flat this week and we are trying to get a rough idea of what our utility bills are likely to cost us.
It is a 2 bed flat in Southampton and there will be 3 people living there. My boyfriend and I work during the day and the other occupant is a student. We haven't met the other occupant yet but I'm assuming he will be around quite a bit in the day.
The flat is electric only (i.e. no gas) and I don't know what kind of tarriff it is on. I remember when we viewed that there were heaters in every room and the landlord said that there was a thermostat on each one which meant you could adjust the temp in every room - not sure if that holds any meaning.
How much should we expect to pay for electricity?
Apologies if there is anything important I have missed out, we are new to sorting out our own bills so not really sure what we should be looking out for!
Thanks,
Leona
