Using Egg for SBT outside 0% period

Comments please on whether this scenario would work:

I have an Egg card with £0 balance and outside 0% period. Can I BT to Egg from another card (also with £0 balance on it) thus creating a credit on the Egg card in order to SBT this to bank current account? Would this also be interest free as I would be SBTing a credit rather than a debit?

Comments

  • Yes and yes.

As long as the Egg Card's in credit, you can then SBT this amount on to your current account (select the overdraft option in the BT menu on Egg's website). There's no charge for this or any interest to pay because the Egg Card's in credit.

MSC - thanks for confirmation. I thought this would be the case, but always best to check it out.
