Woooooow Makes you wonder what your paying taxes for:o
If you can afford it, fair play to you:T but I wouldn't be paying fees to any school:o
Probably why I'm a second class citizen I suppose:rotfl:I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
Tinkerbell, forgot to say, most prep schools will take children in any year providing they have a space available. You need to contact the school and arrange for an interview for yourself and your child. In the first instance you will only be enquiring if they have any free places, if not then everything else is irrelevent. Good luck if this is what you are after.0

Makes you wonder why fee paying schools claim charitable status."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -
its a complete rip off!!!
plus it doesnt give children any advantage over other children in my opinion.
not the most "moneysaving" of choices either!0 -
If thats what the OP wants then thats fine though. Whether its moneysaving or advantegeous is no business of ours. She just wanted to know the costs.0

Tinkerbell, have you tried Methody prep and BRA's prep, Ben Madigan. Both very good. With lots of after school activities, and opportunities.0

I know of someone who put their child into Victoria in P5. The advantage is 'queue jumping' into big school - the grammars take kids from their preps with lower 11-plus grades than the regular entrant. Also, you don't have to mingle with the riff raff
