Warning: Ryanair site payment problems - you may be booked!

A word of warning. I tried to book a ticket with Ryanair yesterday and today. Each attempt failed (or so I thought) at the payment authorisation/verification page - after you've entered all your card info and clicked on payment. I kept getting an error message and invited to Try Again Later.
They have a warning on the site about problems with 'slowness' and loading of pages and suggest that you check your email before rebooking in case the error message was wrong and your flight has been booked/you have actually paid.
After a failed attempt this afternoon, I checked my email on getting the error message (nothing), checked it again 10 mins later (still nada from them) and gave up in disgust. But logging into my email again 30 mins later, there was a booking confirmation email from Ryanair.
I can see that they are going to refuse to give refunds for double bookings as they'll say that passengers rebooked without checking their emails first, so I thought I'd post to stop anyone else getting into a spat with the lovely company!
It's also gone up to a staggering £30 for 1 checked in bag.....

I had a problem yesterday lunchtime trying to book flights
1st attempt, site was stating busy, I thought typical have been meant to book these flight for some time
anyway, on my second attempt, everything went through fine
got my conformation email
the only odd thing is the amount states £56, yet the flights where £38 after the sales discount yet further down it states £38 charged/taken, used my Fairfx card to avoid ryaniar rip off fees
have checked my Fairfax account online, £38 debited :j:j
the only problem today though is my £38 pounds flight for 2 yesterday, is £19 today :mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -
There is a warning on the Ryanair site about it now, with instructions.:)0
