I wanna buy a water filter kettle

We have a Brita filter kettle because we live in a hard water area.
Before we got it our coffee tasted like crap.
Would never use a normal kettle again.

I know a previous poster has said that it doesnt pour well etc, but we do not have any problems at all.
The cartridges last for a month and if you buy them in bulk, (we buy 12 at a time) then they work out about £6.99 each instead of a tenner.

I suppose we all have our preference but I would buy another one if I had to.

On that note... gonna drink my coffee! :coffee:

Eeek! That is over twice what the Aqua Optima ones cost. £39.99/12=£3.33 Sounds like the kettles that use the Strix filter are a much better deal.

Living in a soft water area myself I'm not in the market for one of these but I'd be interested to know why you feel it's worth paying so much more for the Brita cartridges rather than using the Strix ones?
