Help with Explorer

Hi, Having bother with IE. It always freezes after first login to any secure site after first boot.cannot exit using task manager, that also does not respond. I can use firefox or aol browsers ok, but have to shut down using main button before IE works again, then it,s fine for the rest of the day.Masonic has helped, disabled toolbars, using MSE.It,s always the first secure login that seems to cause the problem. Any help appreciated

Try disabling the anti virus as a temporary measure and see if this works.

What operating system are you using?

Have you tried a different browser such as Firefox and seeing if the problem still occurs?

Using MSE A/v using firefox and aol, no problems.Only IE.Wouldn,t have thought MSE would conflict with IE? was about to reinstal AVG9 and see if that fixes it.Vista premium.It,s a 1 time a day problem, first "secure" login.after the login, which I don,t have any aggro, as soon as I go to another site, it hangs, until I close with main button.Can switch to other browsers with IE hanging, once rebooted, IE is ok until next day. repeat performance
