Talk Talk New Line Installation - Save nearly 30 Pounds off installation!

Just thought I would share this with everyone as I just requested a new line installation from Talk Talk who are doing a brand new line for 59.99GBP which in itself is 60 quid cheaper than BT but I discovered if you moan at them saying "ooh thats a bit expensive i wasn't expecting that" they say "oh ok we can do it for 29.99GBP for you if thats better" saving you nearly 30 quid off installation and nearly 100 pounds off BT's price! They are also doing free setup if you mention over the phone the offer they currently have on their website. Google talk talk to find their site.

The £30 connection is a current offer and the guy should have told you it was that straight off.

I was going to sign up with them yesterday and changed my mind today. When I explained why this was (there is going to be an 'unavoidable' overlap in my line rental with Virgin and Talk Talk) he offered me free line connection. I refused because I don't trust Talk Talk and do not want to get stuck in a 2-year contract with them.

However, if you are determined to sign up with them (and I would look up the threads about Talk Talk complaints first), you could save the whole connection fee if you threaten to back out. Worth a shot.

i signed with them earlier this month, i was not going to sign up if they charged me £29.99 connection fee as i already had bband, they agreed to waiver the fee, however just recieved my bill and the connection charge is on there....
