Where can I find a cheap monitor??

Inbetweener_2

Hello all,

My very nice IT friend has sorted me out with a pc but without a monitor. I am not too fussed about quality, size, make etc but am about price!! (skint)

Where should I look? Ebay? Dell? Sorry, neVer bought one before and not sure where to look (and what is classed as cheap!)

All help will be hugely appreciated

Thanks

ebuyer.com would be a good start. good service and quick delivery (usually)

If you would be happy with an old CRT try freecycle.

Yep as Bill says, you can get 15, 17, 19 and sometimes bigger CRT monitors on Freecycle (now mostly called Freegle in the UK). Join your local list and read the posts to find people giving them away. Otherwise, goto Gumtree (local online classifieds) for a cheap monitor that you can pick up cheap.

- ebay
- search for crt monitor
- put in distance from your postcode you are prepared to travel

Pick a Sony or a Dell as big or small as you want, they're 99p each if you collect !

Thanks all - looks like ebay was best for cheap, got two on the go. Nothing freecycling at the moment but will continue to check!
