Capital One security deposit.

If you have a poor credit history, Cap One will still give you a card but may insist on a security deposit. They then set a low credit limit, and charge you interest at an extortionate rate.
In essence, you are being charged to borrow your own money that you have deposited with Cap One.
Anybody tried reclaiming the interest they have been charged, or charging Cap One the same interest rate on their sum deposited?

I would say try another company rather than paying to get one.0
