Broadband with no mimimum contract term?

Hi Everyone,
Looking to get broadband installed at my flat (currently has no landline either). Unfortunately, I'll be moving out at the end of September, so I only need the line for 6-7 months.
BT offers seem dependent on an 18 month minimum contract, Virgin media cable is 12 month minimum term. 3G dongles don't work (ground floor flat, reception is terrible).
All in all, at a bit of a loss, but have to have the internet for work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried all the 3G network coverage checkers?
Otherwise, have the Post Office install a line (1 month term) likely cost circa £110 then go with someone like Zen Internet for the broadband.
Edit: on reflection, if it's a cabled area, you might be better off - if you want something quick - having say the 50Mbps cable broadband for 6 months, then drop it to the base service in the last of those 6 months and then pay the termination charges - check out what those are. In that event you're only paying to the end of term for the broadband not a phone line and broadband, that might offset the £110 install for a line and get you 50Mbps instead of maybe 2Mbps.0 -

Plusnet do a monthly contract as long as you pay for connection, which is £40.
Go through Quidco to get £25 of that back, though!0 -
IDNet do 30 day contracts.0
