    It would be an amazing feeling and if I didn't have the option to overpay I'd have no choice but to do that anyway.

    The fact I can overpay is a bonus and I'd like to take full advantage of it. The only reason I'd balance tranfer to a 0% is so I pay less interest. That was the plan with the MBNA card.

    A balance transfer at 0% onto a bank account to pay off loan is only beneficial most of the time when the credit limit cover the all amount outstanding on the loan and that you can repay the credit card within the 15/16 months offer.

    Ah ok, fair enough.

    I'll just save every penny I can and make a lump payment every 6 months then. I just want to take full advantage of the fact I'm in a position where I am able to overpay by a fair amount every month.
