    Rarrrrrrrrrrrr

Need suggestions - neighbours are being noisy - playing lots of base music and its coming right through my floor - they are not normally noisy but were last night too! Anyway just been up and knocked on their door twice (i.e. I've been up there twice) but they didnt answer - I cant hear any music through their door but it must be them (no flat on the side just a corridor) - what can I throw at the ceiling to get them to shut up??

I am ill by the way and feel very cross

you could try banging the ceiling with a sweeping brush handle

    hope you feel better soon

It sounds like you might be in the wrong size hon - you might need a slightly smaller band size so it stays in place, or perhaps the cups are either too big, so are not holding you in place, or too small and you are spilling out.

Bras always loosen after a few washes, so when you buy them, try to get one that fits perfectly on the last of the 3 (usually) hook and eyes (ie the one that makes the band the biggest). That way, as it slackens off with washing, you can use the middle one, and finally the tightest one. Very MSE tip as you wont have to chuck them out because they've gone too baggy as quickly!

Sigghhhh, I would much rather sell bras than underwrite!

Have you got a long sweeping brush with a wooden handle? They are great for banging floors in a disgruntled manner with! (edit - great minds think alike Claire ;))

Claire, second one is definitely too big around the band. I have every sympathy - it drives you nuts when that happens.

Elfen, not sure I am your woman when it comes to telling you to exercise restraint with underwear shopping! Would be very much a case of the pot calling the kettle black! :D

When I grow up, I would like to have my own very exclusive but non-intimidating lingerie shop in the Victoria Quarter, selling gorgeous, expensive underwear wrapped in scented tissue paper, in boxes with silk bows. :o:o
