I presume its the 3 dongle you've ordered. If so it you should just need to plug it into youusb port and normally they automatically load the management software. Otherwise you may need to load it from a CD. I presume you've been using dial up and can't get broadband.0 -
I've got the 3 dongle and it generally works fine. It's not the fact that I can't get broadband - I think of it as an add-on. I use it with my laptop on the train, and at my parents' house - they aren't into these new-fangled computer thingies ...

As said, the starting procedure is pretty automatic. You take the dongle out of the box (you will probably have to put the SIM in yourself) and plug it into a spare USB slot. On the first use, some software is loaded onto your computer (takes just a couple of minutes), with an icon left on the desktop. On subsequent use, it is just a matter of clicking that icon, sticking the dongle in, and clicking on a connect button.0 -
Yes it is plug and play, the providers settings will be preset to the device
i.e three etc.0 -

Yes, that's the thought of thing I mean if I'm on this sight and go straight into my home banking, then quidco then facebook etc etc is it better to shut them down or press the back button to go back to my homepage when ever I've finished with a particular site0
