What do you class an unfair charge ???

Hi guys,
This may sound like a daft question but what is a 'unfair bank charge' (They are ALL unfair) But what i mean is the ones we can reclaim as my partner has had to pay about 20 charges approx £350-£400 (and range between £15-£35) since xmas and the last bout of charges wiped her son disability living allowance benefit:mad: - so i reckon that qualifies as 'unfair' - so... some basic rules would be greatly appreciated !! look forward to some helpful responses .

Many thanks in advance

Legally - there is no such thing. You are trying to claim back bank charges - those that are succeding at claiming at the moment are doing so as a consequence of Hardship.
Disclaimer - Info about the law is designed to help users safely cope with their own legal needs. But legal info is not the same as legal advice -- the application of law to an individual's specific circumstances. Although I go to great lengths to make sure my info is accurate and useful - please seek the advise of a lawyer before you act..

Legally you can no longer argue penalty charges or the level of charges. You are looking at the imbalance in the whole contract at a specific point in time when you were charged, for example, if it triggered another charge for going over your agreed limit. There are new legal arguments that in time will be on the forum.
