Cheap way to get from Inverness to London Helllllllllllppppppppppppp!!!!

I have booked tickets to see Ken Dodd perform at the Wycombe Swan theatre on the 23rd of may this year. I have checked all the major airlines and most of them charge an arm and a leg for fares booking fees and baggage fees

I`ve also checked train and bus fees and they too are expensive.

Does anybody know of a cheap way to get from Inverness to London?

Myself and my son are going to see Ken perform and also to meet my son`s girlfriend in High Wycombe.

Can anybody help us find a cheap easy way to get down to London?

    Hi,

    As found on FlyBe.com:
    Inverness to London Gatwick (20,21 or 22 May) = £12.39;

    As found on easyjet.com:
    London Luton to Inverness (23,24 or 25 May) = £26.99
    = £39.38 return, which IMO is very reasonable for a 900 mile round trip!

    You could always pay £124.50 on the train.

    the cheap train tickets are realeased 12 weeks before (if I remember correct) I regularly get my mum tickets at 12 weeks out between Edinburgh and London for around £15 each way - book the outward as soon as released then wait a few days to grab the return

    Just thought i'd check megabus and wow they're cheap!

    The cheapest I have found is:

    OUTBOUND - 17, 18, 19 or 20th May
    07:10 Depart Inverness, arrive London 20:15 = £11.00

    RETURN - 23rd May
    08:00 Depart London, arrive Inverness 21:35 = £1.00

    =£12.00 return!!! :eek::T:eek::T:eek:
