In fact I am sitting here drinking a coffee and eating mini toffee crisp and some shortbread and checking WW classes!

    What a prat!

At least it is a mini toffee crisp! And you must have earned back a lot of points doing the housework!

Oh Red I know where your coming from, fancy a fat free challenge. I noticed today I have gained a little (well maybe not so little) muffin top which I thought I had got rid of some time ago.
I'm back on the cutting back and increasing excercise this week just had roast without the roast potatoes :(. I dont seem to notice half of what I stuff in my mouth so im going to buy a small notebook and use it to log food in one side and a spending diary in the other. I know i'm still wasting money so im going for a full overhaul :D

I was low carbing and lost 7lbs and then for reasons still unbeknown to me it all went back on again.

I have never been as heavy as I am now and while some is down to not smoking, I still eat too much!

I need to work out why I eat and I am sure it is boredom. Anyone else have that problem?

I was bored for most of today and have found it really hard to resist the snacks, especially as my cupboards are full after I did the monthly shop yesterday!

The thing about low carbing is that you really do have to stick to it quite rigidly - if you deviate even a little, you end up piling weight on because you are eating both higher sugar and higher fat. Were you following Atkins or something similar, or just reducing carbs in your normal diet?

I have just made a huge salad for work tomorrow and a pile of fruit yes boredom does play a part with me Im hoping if i have to write it down i may think twice. I also think giving up smoking plays a big part i still feel like i have to replace that after dinner ciggie with something nice

I was following the Idiot Proof Diet, very similiar to Atkins.......and I thought I was rigid but apparently not, I want a miracle I think.

Lost 22lb on WW before so I think that is the way to go for me, esp since I love chocy and at least by doing WW I am allowed some sweetness if I allocate some points.

HWG - not smoking definately had an impact plus I am getting older and metabolism is definately slower

I am thinking of going back to swimming, less boring than walking!

I did atkins for years, very successfully, but I did stick to it rigidly which was the only reason I could keep the weight off - once I broke the diet, that was it, game over :o

Now, I try to be low carb but within my WW points, so that I don't go overboard on the fat element, which means that the occasional choccy treat is not a problem :D

    So far, so good.
