Faulty Dishwasher, what are my rights?

Im not sure what details will be relevant so I will put it all in to save on any questions -
Hi, I purchased a Beko Full Size - DWD8657 dishwasher through Very catalogue (formally littlewoods direct) 1 year and 11 months ago. Its just suddenly stopped heating up the water and drying the dishes at the end of the cycle even tho its still running full cycles. At the time I believe the dishwasher was valued at £399.99 (catalogue price!!!) and I have been paying over 52 weeks for it. I have looked at various 'mending' 'how to fix it' sites and it looks like a thermostat and/or heating problem. I have no idea how to check for myself so wouldnt even try. I have had a look at the consumer rights and found -
Sale of Goods Act 1979. Under this act, consumers in the UK have the statutory right to expect products which are of “satisfactory quality and fit for purpose”. It enables us to request a repair, replacement or even a refund at any time, bearing in mind the price you have paid and the expected lifetime of the product. In many cases, this may be longer than two years and could be anything up to six.
What tends to confuse consumers and allow traders to wriggle out of their legal obligations under Sale of Goods, is the mention of guarantees or warranties (essentially the same thing). How many of us are under the impression that once a product is ‘out of warranty’, the retailer or supplier is no longer responsible? Wrong. Your statutory rights under Sale of Goods mean you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement or a refund long after the warranty has expired. And don’t be told otherwise!
So am I right in assuming that I can/MAY have my dishwasher repaired even tho the 1 year guarantee is up?
I have followed all maunufacturers instructions in cleaning and keeping good my dishwasher by cleaning the filters, arms and inside of it regulary.
I feel a bit hard done by as it has been used every other day, sometimes 3 days and dont feel I have had my monies worth from it!
If I do have rights here somewhere any advice on how to follow it up, I believe I go through seller (very catalogue
) or in this case would it be Manufacturer (Beko)? If they refuse and I have rights how do I word it to them without sounding like I dont have a clue??
If I have missed anything out that you need to know, please ask!

You'd have to go via Very. They might ask you to get a report detailing the fault.
