MacBook Pro Bluetooth not working with my Mobile Phone

Hi guys, any advice much appreciated on this please.
My macbook pro recognises that my samsung omnia i900 is in the room but when it comes to trying to transfer files via bluetooth it will not work. Is it due to Samsung not being compatable with Apple Mac's?
Any advice on this appreciated as I am unlikely to upgrade to a new samsung phone if this is the case and go with someone else.

Nope, the compatibility is not the problem, the MacBook Pro being too secure is. Bluetooth file sharing is turned off by default on the Mac. Go into System Preferences, Sharing, and tick the Bluetooth Sharing box, which I imagine was unticked.0
