Hi

I live it a flat that has a juliet balcony. I wanted to use the long tubs to maybe plant some strawberry's or raspberrys. Can these be planted in these and will they grow well? Also when should i plant these ?

I would also like to plant some flowes in another one as i have room for two tubs. What would you suggest?

What sort of size are we talking about? You'll get away with strawberries for sure (though I would net them against the birds if I were you). Raspberries are unlikely to do well. Blueberries are well suited to container growing but you'll need largish containers eventually.

I was thinking of using ones that where

Height: 12.5cm.
Length: 40cm.
Width: 17cm

Ohhh...they're tiny! You'd get away with maybe two strawberry plants in one of those, if they were well fed and watered. I think you'd get more pleasure from some nice flowers to be honest. Or herbs. Basil or coriander would probably do well.

Laura, are you sure it's centimetres, not inches? It's just the containers sound really small.
