Bank charges and the Social Security Administartions act 1992

I tried to claim my bank charges back form A+L a few years ago and each time they refused to pay them to me, but i heard a while ago before the close of the bank charges that it was illegal for a bank to take money from a social security benefit for the purpose of paying bank charges. So i wrote to them telling them this and they still refused to pay back the money they took from my benfits, and since the court case last year i have since recieved a letter from them saying that the matter with them is now close and no further action can be taken in the matter. What i want to know now is can i still pursue my claim against them as i am in real financial hardship now and i am having to live off my son's money just to get by, my son suffers from A.D.H.D and Learning difficulties and i feel so ashamed i am having to "STEAL" so to speak off my own son just to keep ourselves going. So please someone get back to me soon and give me some hope that i can win against the fat cats of the financial world.:(:(
