Save on electricity bills with an energy monitor

I have been using an energy monitor for six months now and I want to share the virtues of them! I have saved so much money!
My electricity bills have now dropped from £95 month to £66. I know what I'm and others in my house are leaving on, and by being able to identify what's being wasted rather than used has help us save loads!
I know there are loads of energy monitors out there, but I use the Envi from Current Cost.
Would love to know what others have saved, I thought saving 20% was great but think there maybe others out there who have saved more than me.

Knowing how much electric you're using and cutting down are 2 different things0

But if you know what you're using, and how much you can turn off to save money, and having a visible screen to give you real-time information you can't lose.
Turning things off you're not using, and knowing what you're 'baseline' is, stick as close to that as possible and you will save money!0 -
You can get a free energy monitor and standby saver (it turns your appliances off from the mains when they go into standby) from here. Provided you know someone on benefits or over the age of 70 who doesn't want it themselves...
The offer code is EF3. You don't have to be a British Gas customer.0 -
atypical, the british gas website they ask for your benefits refrence number. Daft question but do you just put your NI number in?one step at a time....0
