Courtesy car
If you wish to take advantage of a courtesy car whilst your car is being repaired, do you need to provide anything? Its just that I have just sent off my driving licence as I need to update it to show my new address, and I wondered if the dealer needed it if I wanted to request a courtesy car?

Different companies have different rules... some want to see the licence others dont - they should be able to telephone a number and use the reference number from your licence (which you should have retained) to confirm the status but they may not bother to do it. Also check with them the situation on insurance... a few garages make you add it to your own policy as a temporary additional vehicle. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
