That's why I thought Rkill may do the trick - stops a few processes thereby allowing Malwarebytes to run it's course.

Could be a TDSS Root -

Got confused, I wasn't sure if Jaffa meant Avast or Avira Antivir, so its a rogue av that he's downloaded then.

it happens when iam online, the page will change to antivir and it says i need to pay to get rid of it.... all the anti virus stuff and malaware etc arent picking anything up

So Malwarebytes, Combofix, Ad-Aware, Avast, SUPERAntiSpyware. Windows Defender, HijackThis, Spybot, Dr Web, is not picking this up???
