Lol, no - he hasn't said he doesn't want a relationship, I just don't see him as relationship material. Not sure who the guy who said he didn't want a relationship was...think he was just a random that I decided to turn down.

You could be dead right about him, although he's a bit older and (insult-flingng aside) more mature than Will was (sorry, I can't call him an affectionate nickname any more but you know who I mean), and he makes no secret of fancying me, which is nice actually, after feeling unattractive and worthless for so long. The insults have felt like a strange sort of flirtation - as a friend of mine said, if you were in the playground he would have been pulling your pigtails by now.

He doesn't actually know about the split - he knew we were 'friends' (ie more than friends), but that I was still free to see other people, but he doesn't know about the events of the last 24 hours yet, so I don't think he was just waiting for a way in - he didn't really need one as we could have gone out any time.

So I dunno - could be a bad idea, but doesn't feel risky in the 'likely to get hurt' sense.

Thanks Beanie - not sure that's true, but I have friends who kick my a$$ and force me to be positive again if I start to lose heart, and it does help me a lot. :)

He's grand:D Starting to stand up for the odd moment and cruising and climbing like crazy. He's got a couple of back teeth coming through so a bit cranky at the minute but not as bad as it could be so we really are lucky with him. Can't believe he's 1 in less than 2 weeks:eek::eek::eek:

As for me - still on meds but more even keel now after the blip before Xmas. Gave up counselling as couldn't see the benefit - felt I was getting more out of spending time with friends. Still trawling for jobs with little luck...
