Nice carvan site in Devon near sea for kids

Hello

can anyone recommend a nice caravan site in Devon (north of south) that's near to nice child friendly beaches and activities?

I'm not interested in the more commercial sites like Haven Holidays as we won't be using the extras they always provide (lie a playpark) as we intend to be out all day.

There's three of us and we'd like a fairly large caravan for 4-5 days that's clean and quiet.

I've spent some time looking at the various caravan sites but a personal recommendation wouldn't go amiss.

This is for the school holidays.
