Hi there,
We are looking at a few days in the great old capital end of August, staying 2 nights, there will be 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 3, so would need a family room.
Have looked on Travelodge site but nothing near enough for the 2 nights. We are on a bit of a budget, but want something decent, near the centre, so realise we woulkd have to pay a bit more. Willing to travel on the tube etc to get to the sights.
Any reccomendations anyone???
Thanks !
Liz

You can have a look on laterooms.com and hotels.com - usually have good selection.
Try Marriott/Renaissance too - if you join their reward scheme you can sometimes get a slightly better rate. Family Rooms at Regents Park or Maida Vale (not sure how nice the area around this would be but is fairly central at least) - are around £100 (depending on date) - some have breakfast included. www.marriott.co.uk
Club Quarters Graceland St Pauls is £105 per night for a family room on Lastminute. This is 4* and seems to be quite good value. These were all on www.lastminute.com for the weekend of 25th/26th
Try the Holiday Inn site:
Holiday Inn in Kings Cross is also £70 (has baby sitting, grm facilities - location not brill but at least central - 4*) , Earls court = £67 - but this is a Holiday Inn express. HOwever tax needs to be added - taking Kings Cross rate upto £82 per night. www.holidayinn.co.uk0 -
We're staying at the premier travel inn in Kensington in a fortnight. Quad room (us and two under fours) with breakfast and dinner for £75 per night. I'm not sure when the offer is valid till but check their website!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 002 :rotfl:0

I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews/ratings, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance!)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W
Hope that helps0
