tucan claims

do not go anywhere near tucan claims. My friend, last October, paid them £250 on a c/card, next day rang to cancel it - 14 day cooling off period,write a letter canceling it please.Letter was written, they claimed they did not get it, nxt expensive 'phone call told to send registered letter to cancel the agreement. Guess what - no refund, numerous calls and promises but - rien - nothing. Have contacted BBC Radio 4 MoneyBox and BBC 1 Watchdog, Apparently they can't refund on a c/c! I think they rely on people giving up! Well I am not!
Who is Karis Serena Roberts? My solicitor's now preparing a letter for me to send. I will e-mail them and await...... Is it to do with the bad weather near Bristol (one centre) or Cwmbran (another centre) Jenny and Scott who answer the 'phone say they have no manager I can speak to. has anybody managed to speak to Karis Serena Roberts yet? My advice is please don't do it

    Thank you so much for posting this up, this will surely be a great help, and to warn others of these companies and others alike of what a sham they all are.
    So sorry to hear of your friend as well, that is real bad indeed, and good on your for being there to help your mate out.

  • I had a phone call from them on 21st January. Paid £250 and then decided to cancel within the week. Told I had to follow their complaints procedure even though I wasn't complaining and just excerising my rights under the Distance marketing of financial service law. Still not had my money back. I got in touch with Minstry of justice who they are regulated by and they told me that they were not following their claims regulations. They have taken up the case but so far Tucan are not responding to them either.
    Please do not give them your business. Thanks
