Hi we have just had an extension and the plugs and light are on a seperate fuse box.
When it was first done the condenser dryer kept on tripping the electric on the new side but when plugged in on the old side nothing happened the sparky came out and did something and the dryer worked fine.
But now it is has started tripping again.
I have pluged in a kettle, iron, heater and a grill total watts is about 6500 - 7000 at the same time on the same plug and nothing tripped.
It is just the dryer that trips the new electrics and NOT the old. But WHY!!
Advice please Niall

is it on a RCD (IE you can reset the switch when it goes?)... there maybe a fault with the dryer?0

Yes both fuse boxes are rcd's
The dryer works ok on the old curcuit and was working fine on the new for a while.
