DH is finally out of surgery after 3+ hours - so flying suspended as I'm away to see him,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Hi all
Thanks again for your positive vibes and hugs for my mum. I've just spoken to her and she said they've taken several biopsies - I think from her cervix and from the womb lining (sorry if TMI). Anyway, she's got an appointment for two weeks time to discuss any findings. Not long now until we find out what's going on.
In the meantime, I've been a bit busy (!) Had a trip into town and booked DD's doctor and hair appointments, bought new shoes (£40 ) and treated her to a babyccino and croissant. Even bigger treat for her was a ride home on the bus!
Spent a frantic hour in the kitchen doing the following:
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
Level One
[STRIKE]Sweep,[/STRIKE] vacuum and mop floors
[STRIKE]Declutter and wipe worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Oven and hob cleaning week... and it is level one so none of you can get out of it..[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Wipe table replacing cloth if necessary..
Clear out a cupboard.. the larder unit if yyou jave one or just the general messiness of cupboard.. the one where you stuff all things useless.
[STRIKE]Wipe and replace small appliances.. Clean one thoroughly![/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe units and large appliances.. don't forget kickboards![/STRIKE]
Wipe the tops of the wall units.. lining them with old wallpaper or newspaper keeps them clean! After all that I can't bloomin' reach....it's going to bug me now.
[STRIKE]Dejunk window sills, dust blinds and wash windows![/STRIKE]
Extras- Wash light shades and clean bulbs
- Clean out the smelly fridge
- Sort out and restock baking cupboards
- Wash the vacuum cleaner innards and filters.. do not reassemble until completely dry!!
Take care
D

Hope it all goes well Moam - thinking of you all.
I listened to my body and didn't do any of the kitchen - watched tv in bed and then fell asleep for a couple of hours. Just getting some toast for lunch.

In my HHC I pegged out some washing (I know it's late but the skies cleared and it was sunny) in the hope that it will, at least, lighten it a bit.
I washed out the detergent drawer and wiped out the slot it fits in and wiped over the rest of the washer and I did some serious hot spot diminishing in preparation for properly cleaning the dining room.
I threw out (into the compost bin) DD's brithday flowers which lasted well - not all are past it but enough of them to warrant them going!)
Now I can clean the dining room...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
