Not more difficult, merely adding other stuff which is desperate to be done which means it may run over into another day or 2.
I NEED to get our room done before the summer so we can focus on getting the girls room dried out, guttering replaced and their room replastered and decorated once the weather is halfway decent.
Only problem is.. our room is 5ft deep in crap!!
Right.. I am heading to the kitchen to refuel and then emptying this wardrobe to be relocated to the landing.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Not really that much left to do now but the next job will be the windows as I have to stand/kneel on the worksurfaces to clean them so not much point in doing them first.
QUOTE]
This is really about your earlier post to do with the oven shelves in the bath. I've read about this before, but can't remember what to use to get them clean. Can you help? Thanks.
Before DH came home for lunch I managed to do this:
WM x3
TD x2
DW emptied and re-loaded, waiting for last of lunch dishes
cleaned worksurface around sink/sink, wiped kettle and sugar/tea containers
wiped front of DW and WM
wiped TD front and sides, moved TD and cleaned floor underneath
wiped back door (inside only, it's cold and wet today)
put rubbish/recycling out
cleaned cupboard under sink, including door inside and outside
cleaned kitchen bin
wiped central heating boiler
That's the left side of the kitchen almost done, apart from the big shelf by the back door, which will have to wait. Lunch x3 has been decluttered. Will have a cuppa with something sweet before starting again. How did it get so late???0 -
I have decluttered some lunch and put all my photos from Oz onto the laptop. I have also been doing some practising for a concert at the end of the week.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

Thanks! Sounds like a good idea! Just got the hob to clean now and OH says he'll do the kitchen floor so then that's today's list done - just some exercise and a long bath and then a load of computery things to sort out after that!0 -
Oh wow, just looked at first page to check how I'm doing. Perpetual lurker - cool - been called a few things in my life but never one of them. But my smilies are not working!! Nor is my font change and other associated bits around this box!!Found the kitchen table Have cleaned racks and door of cooker by soaking them in biological washing powder in the bath - then had to clean the bath to get rid of the scum and washed vacuum cleaner filters currently drying on radiator - so felt obliged to go and buy a new one as a spare so that I could vacuum today! I am up to level 2 today. Hopefully if I dare go back in the kitchen I will finish it.
I had a glass fall out of the cupboard and smash, the chopping board fell of the shelf and smashed and a metal tape measure jumped off the top shelf and hit me.
BM on and 2 x WM loads hung around the house!
Hugs MOAM thinking of you and DH today

MrsChaos - I put my oven shelves in the bath with biological washing powder - cheapest you can find - and water and leave them to soak, then it doesn't take much elbow grease to clean them.
In my HHC I've:
Cleaned windows
Watered plants
Washed dishes
Stripped chicken
Fed Gemma
Cleaned microwave
Taken food waste out
Cleaned tub
Cleaned 2 lunchbags which had had fruit left in them!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Just uploaded another couple of things to ebay, that's almost a quarter of my monthly targetMmmmm wonder if the relist will count as part of the target, will be over a quarter of the way there is so! I am sure I will be advised at some point
Miss A has baked some buns which look very nice, WM and TD contents swapped over and dry stuff folded ready to go away, nothing to add to the ironing basket woohoo. W is having a PJ day so far and enjoying playing with his lego.
Lunch had with my friend who used to live next door, her place is being let and she was here to get the furniture collected for charity.
Keeping meaning to say Happy Birthday to Vanilla and Thifty :bdaycake: hope you both have a nice day.
Also hugs and positive outcome vibes for MOAMOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
