To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

    Morning all :)
I have just woken on the settee so just putting down what I did yesterday before I hop into bed for an hour or two although almost tempted to just stay up now to be honest.
I completed level 1 much to my youngest's happiness :) Also washed his curtains, washed the windows, completed more than half hour of ironing :) and spent lots of time with my two children and my two nieces who ended up sleeping over :)
It doesn't sound a lot does it? Obviously cooking, dishes and shopping were all there in between it all but I will try to do more :) Pleased with what I did do though :)
Have copied and pasted into word the original list for the week and going to pick out some stuff to make a list for myself for the weekend including some bits that I know I need to do :)
Going to have a look at that now :)
    Jenny :)

  • Morning all. Just returned from 11 days in Hong Kong. Managed to stay up till 8.30 last night and woke this morning at 5am which is only 1 hour earlier than usual. Hope that the jetlag is sorted but I still feel tired(but not sleepy) so it will probably bite me in the bum again later. Kitchen which was tidy now ressembles(?) a chinese laundry - did do two loads yesterday tho. So that is my main todo for today. My other todo is to go pick up our new puppie:T Will post a piccie later or tomorrow for those interested.

Diva - glad to see you back in your usual place on the thread:)

Glamazon - Welcome. I'll give u one of these:xmastree:so Toots our official meeter & greeter spots you. So that is it you are now officially in:rotfl:
Many of us work and don't manage all the lists every week(I think I managed 4 stars one week I was off all week) but the help & support is brilliant and you'll get loads of advice too.

    Morning All

Have you had a good time jacky?

    Well done lil-me - you'll be great!

I told the kids yesterday that we'd go out somewhere today although I don't know where yet and it's been snowing so that may restrict us a bit. I need to do some ironing although DH said he would do some as well but that remains to be seen - as long as the uniforms are done though that's the main thing.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Ok the new uniform is waiting til after work on Monday when I can pick it up on my way home - hubby has just got home from working a 12 hour shift through the night and is doing the same tonight so we won't have time to go. I could go myself but seems silly to waste money on bus fare,(almost 5 pound for a ten minute trip down the road)! when I will be passing the uniform shop on my way home from work on Monday :) Old uniform will be fine for the one day :) So instead of buying new uniform that task will change to getting uniform washed, dried and ironed for Monday :)
Right going to have a cwtch,(cuddle), with my hubby :)
    Catch you later :)

    Morning All :hello:

Was very quiet in here last night. Am just going in the shower then off to see the ladies at the gym to see if we can devise a new workout omitting the machine that kills my back . DH is taking DD swimming then not sure what we are gonna do, perhaps borrow next doors wee doggy and all go for a long walk.

[STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] encourage DS1 to tidy his room and check that electronics worksheets are done

There's so much more left to do, but if I manage all of this I'll be quite pleased.
