Evening all,
Helen and Lil-me - that's so exciting for both of you. Wishing you all the best in your ventures.
DS2 and I had a nice afternoon at the garden centre - even if it took me ages to warm up again afterwards. We managed to do the petshop, playground, new cafe (to get warm in between) and family farm. We also had a nosy at the space that used to be the cafe as well as some other changes they've made. Apparently there's going to be an ice-cream parlour in the summer, and outdoor BBQs. It's a lovely place to spend time, but they do know how to charge! Careful planning and picnics will be on the cards when the weather gets better.
When we got back we visited friends a few doors away and then I was busy doing tea. DW is on, pans are washed and hob cleaned. Dont recognise myself!!!
Next on my list is a bit of work, followed by time with my book. It's got to be a good murder mystery if I'm more than 3/4 through and still don't have clue - either that or I'm particularly dense at the moment.Oh, maybe a bath first, as I'm still cold!
Will keep an eye on the thread, though, so I don't have too much catching up to do in the morning. I'll miss it next week.
On the subject of pets, I'm fine with snakes and such-like. It's the number of legs that matters to me. Between none and four is fine, but more than four and I've got a problem!0 -

macpep - I find stopping drinking doesn't matter one iota (sp?) for losing weight...... So fingers crossed it does for you
Big Hi to Valli, AnWsmum and Thrifty - local ladies
Like lots on here, I can't believe it's Friday already...........
Only one star here completed so far this week, will endeavour to get the rest done tomorrow back pending.
Had a good evening though today, had my first meeting with my little mentee tonight. I think our 6 months are going to fly by and hopefully we will have some fun during this time.
Happy weekend to all

I've just realised I've not posted yet today, sorry about that. I've been really busy working, making new things, and have sold one item on Ebay! Yay! Have a bid on something that ends tomorrow too, so that's wonderful! I've got 25 things listed at the mo, so very pleased that some are selling at last. They've all been relisted millions of times!
Flying: have washed up and done tidying up a bit.
I'm only up to p.45 so apologies if I've missed anything
Greenbee, hope you feel better soon.
Hugs Pigpen and Macpep, hope you are feeling better now xx
Jo sorry about the dog, hope he’s better now

Ooops, cant find my list, but as I have not crossed anything off, that is probably just as well!
Totally overdid it on Wednesday, mentally and physically and have completely vegged for the last two days - having wicked headaches and really bad legs. Probably a little optimistic with it being half term. At least from next week I shall have time to myself and can pootle at my own pace.
I have been feeding the washing machine and tumble dryer still, up to date on ironing and have been washing up and cooking so all is not totally lost. Will read over the weekend, and start again on the lists on Monday. At least if I am trying, anything that is done is better than the nothing I was doing before.
Have a good weekend everyone, LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -

Lil-me - Well done hon!
Macpep - Weetabix cake - tastes a bit like malt loaf and not like weetabix at all..
Toochoosey - Here we go honey, I think the film you mean is Breakdown with Kurt Russell. I rather enjoy tracking down random films, thank you!!
Hellsbells and Mummyof5 - hope you feel better soon
Poppy - Yes hon. Obviously I am not pleased that he is bi-polar but I am very pleased that he will now get help. It has been an exhausting 12 months being his friend and trying to get him to see he has not been acting completely out of character and really manic.
Hope all the poorly flyladies feel better today.
Off to find my list.Diva.x
To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0
