Has it actually debited on your statement or just in pending transactions?
  • You won't actually be charged this - it is a pre authourisation check thingymajig(!) same thing happened to my mum In January when she placed an order!

A lot of online retailers do this, they pre-auth a pound or two to the card to make sure it is valid before allowing you to complete checkout with it, and when they are ready to ship they'll take the whole amount. The £1 / £2 charge won't actually debit the account, and it will be un-reserved within 2-5 days ish ;)
