No claims Query

If I don't own or drive a car for a while, How long will my No Claims Bonus be retained. Is there a set time limit or is it left to individual ins. co.?

I'm sure it was 2 years then you lose it. f you have have full no claims that is a blow, I lost mine by being named on my OH insurance and have had to build it back of the years again.

It is down to individual insurers but the majority do have a 2 year limit as Hilary1 says.
