My boyfriend proposed!!!!!!

I've been so worried the past couple of years that it would get to the point where I would leave because it was never going to happen. I was so worried that I would miss my chance of having children because I stayed too long with a man that didn't want the same things in life as me, although he said he did. I was so worried that he just didn't love me enough, even though it seemed like he loved me deeply.

I'm so happy! I'm looking foward to organising our wedding. However, I'm mostly glad that we are making a permanent committment to each other and will legally a couple with the security and protection that affords.

Gosh, now I need to make decisions instead of just thinking about possibilities.

Thank you all.

I'm studying to be a chartered accountant while working full time so I'm not sure when to have the wedding as both the wedding and my studies need a lot of time. I have exams every May and November and I study start studying each February and August. I don't want either the wedding or my studies to suffer because of the other.

Due to my parents we'll probably have a decent budget, but any budget needs careful management when it comes to weddings. I have a large family too and feeding a large number of guests is possibly the biggest expense.

My main priority is to find a venue as I think that influences many of the other decisions about the wedding. I love the photos of Gosfield Hall, which is beyond stunning, but unless I get a last minute deal it's a dream only because it's shockingly expensive. We'll probably start visiting more realistic venues soon.

We're going to Hatton Gardens this week, so any advice on buying a engagement ring there would be gratefully received.

He's made me so happy.
