*Continued after a previous thread debating the need for a new UK building society was removed as spam*
I am setting up this thread to continue the debate on the practicality / need to set up a new building society within the UK, and would welcome members thoughts on this.

Thanks for your comment - I think the opening comment on this thread more fairly reflects where the conversation was going. I can see the administrator's point on the content of the previous thread, as perhaps we provided too much detail on our own intentions, rather than debating the concept.
