JSA - rapid reclaim or not?

My temp jobs last between 2-3 months, but it has a chance of being extended depending on workload.

If it lasts for 2-3 months, do I go for rapid reclaim? Or start again?

If it's longer, I assume I apply again without doing rapid re-claim?

Before the temp job started, I finished the 6 weekly sign-on stage (i.e. 13-26 weeks).

When my temp job end, do I get put back to the '13-26 weeks' stage? Or do I start from th '0-13 week' stage?

they will tell you when you ring up to do the claim, it will prob be the rapid reclaim unless there has been any change of circumstance other than the work you did

as above, their system will identify it anyone for you.

so you were at stage 2 i think then?

from what i understand, if you are in stg 1(1st 13 weeks) or 2 (13 to 26 weeks) and there is a break in the claim of 1 day or more then you go back to the beginning of stg 1, including attending the back to work session unless it been less than 12 weeks since you went to your last one.

if you were at stg 3 (more than 26 weeks) you go back to stage 3 unless the break in claim has been more than 28 days.

    Thanks for your explaination.

This week will be my fourth week of my 2-3 months contract. Looks like no matter what happens (for example, contract cut short), I will be start from stage 1.

if there is no change of circs, they already have the majority of the info and your aware of the rules etc then its literally just checking the job seekers agreement is still applicable, and re issuing of attendance times etc.

initial interview is 40 mins approx, rapids are only 20 mins well thats how our jcp works anyhow

If your on stage 2 and have a break of less then 28 days you go back to stage 2.

Is there anywhere where I can find this information?

A friend of mine actually signed off once he was refferred to new deal; upon signing back on he was put straight back to the New deal :rotfl:

But is there anywhere where it is written out what stage you get put back to?
    cheers
