First of all, I should point out that I have not got a techincal mind whatsoever. So please don't shoot me down in flames, I am merely looking for a little guidance? I have a budget of around £300ish.
I would like a base unit PC that I can use the basic tasks like internet, email, etc. Additionally to this, I would also like to listen to music and watch freeview tv/dvds/etc on. Ideally the TV card/tuner will be built in. Min memory I would like 4gb and be running windows 7. I don't require a monitor.
Is all this possible on my budget? Can anyone point me in the direction I should be looking in?
Thanks in advance

Hi
I know that the customer is always right....
But I think that you're over-egging it with the RAM.
32-bit versions of Windows 7 will only utilize 4GB, the rest will be wasted.
64-bit versions of Windows 7 can utilize more than 4GB though.
Is there some reason that you actually need a lot of RAM?
I may be wrong, but I think that for normal use (internet, email, watching DVDs) 2GB is sufficient.
It's up to you though.

Yes 2GB would be fine for what you want, you basically want a desktop unit dont you0

No, not really. You have to pay extra to have Windows installed on it.Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0
