Apologies if in wrong forum...
I have just been hacked on my facebook i think, friends have got a message from me ( supposedly) with a link in to something ??
The link doesnt work , & i have now changed my password but just wondered how that happens & will that mean that i have to change my password on EVERYTHING i use on the internet ? ( loads !!!
Never had anything like this before. Help /advice appreciated please.:mad:

sorry I can't help suethedriver...but if it is any consolation, I was just on fb and it gave me a trojan when i clicked on god knows what...hope you get it fixed x0

It's more likely to be a Facebook virus you've picked up.
They usually hide in applications that you've allowed access to your profile.Dave. :wave:0 -
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running

If you've registered with another site using the same details as you used for facebook, they could have got your details that way, either because the site was hacked or the site is specifically there to harvest login details. It is also possible you have some sort of keylogger or other malware (which alienrik will help solve), or that you use a very simple password and have had a dictionary attack.
Go through the steps with alienrik to make sure your computer is clean, don't use easy passwords (e.g. if you choose a password of 'lemonade', set it to '13m0n@D3'), and be careful when re-using passwords on other sites. I keep unique passwords for online banking, a selection of 3 I use for 'trusted' sites, and another I use for random sites where I don't care if they misuse the details. Ideally you should have unique passwords for everything, but I find that hard to keep track of.0
