I have found the above company to do some electrical work in my home from the rated people website,i cannot find anywhere that tells me if he's registered as competent and qualified. He has good feedback on the rated people website and wondered if anyone has dealt with him, thanks.

His documentation should have a registration number and membership details of the appropriate trade body.
Remember that being registered with something like NICEIC, does not mean that he is 'competent' to do work for which Part P of the building regs applies. So make sure the right competency applies relevent toi what work you are having done
Slightly OT, but I am finding more and more that when checking someones claimed membership of professional/trade associations, some associations will not confirm membership due to "data protection". Bizarrely, the assocaitions want to check with the "member" to ask their permission to confirm to me if they are a member or not! Work that one out0
