Wayne, it won't effect you also before registering you have a three month grace period before having to register with the tax people. They do this just in case you decide not to continue. But, make sure you have saved your receipts.

Good idea Jo- I think one of the shops that sells my stuff is taking some with her to the next fair so hopefully will get something from there.

Oh right, so the old tax man may have me over a barrell if in my contract it states i cant have a second job. Why do i have a bad feeling somethings going to go belly up, and i dont mean the selling, just the tax issue will mess me up!

not the taxman.... they don;t care what your contract states.... It your employer that will be a tad upset! They can (whether they will I don't know) dismiss you for breach of contract.
My OH cant have another job as his contract states he can be dismissed for gross misconduct if he is sub contracting..... even to someone not connected to his industry....

Worth checking everything out as you don't want to loose you job on the basis of trying to earn a little cash....

ask your boss... It might just be okay!

Skint - where you off too?? I so so fancy a weekend away but need suggestions so if you are off anywhere nice please do say. I am still willing to be a guinea pig for your possible classes. I am not icing confident.

Saucy - can't see your link.

Mable - I love your stuff but I find your site to be a bit pale and lacking in colour. Mine is too but i dunno how to sort it KWIM. I find wedding jewellery sites to be very beige and bland. I actually think that is why we struggle (you less so you have a working site ATM) because everyone blends in the the next like we all use swarovski, all use pearls either faux or freshwater. Pearls are usually white or cream or creamrose. I think you need to find an edge, something different and non typical and then exploit that. Sorry if you find my comments a bit negative, they are not meant to be it what i have discovered this week while deciding if my site will stay or go.

Everyone hope you are well. I have had intermittent net issues all week. Positive points are, I have finished my declutter pretty muh and have a huge ebay pile, I have discovered enough tinned fod in my cupboards to last easily 4-5 weeks and I managed to survive a short stay in Ninewells for some tests reletivly unscathed but sore.

Hi Lilac- hope the tests went ok.
I completely agree about the site but like you I have no idea what to change!! That's why I wanted some fresh eyes looking at it. Will have to have a think on what to do. Thanks very much for your opinion- I'm not offended in the slightest I just needed someone else to confirm my thoughts!

As an afterthought- do you think a border around the photos would help or hinder?
